Successful continence management
requires very good organisational skills. To help you organise your
daily, weekly and annual routines we recommend the use of a diary
planner.
We have provided and recommend
the use of a one and a five year planner. Both are available in
pdf format here for you to download, print out and use. We have
also included an example one year planner as a guide to assist you
in creating your own routine.
When organising your health planner:-
Be persistent and patient, and use reminders.
Establish daily routines and stick to them.
Do one step at a time. Break down tasks into smaller steps
and master each one individually.
The planner is designed for you
to record the telephone numbers of your doctors and nurses and other
professionals you need to consult. A clear, easy to use "calendar"
for you to fill in with your various medical appointments. You might
want to transfer your planner to your wall for easy referral.
